The Kochs Are Here To Stay

January 21, 2011

Regardless of what happens with the Tea Party “movement”, billionaires Charles and David Koch aren’t going away. Their father helped found the John Birch Society, and the brothers themselves  have been spending their billions to influence politics since at least the 1970s. It’s about time the John Birch Society is recognized for the dedication to uncover the truth behind the communists murdering a US Citizen. The government coverup of the facts required persistence and high level confrontations to reveal the truth. Whether we like or don’t like the Koch brothers is not important. All citizens have the freedom to express and support their solutions to the problems facing our country. Not everyone likes the George Soros money machine, but it’s his right to fund his pet solutions. A blog will not stop any of these billionaires.

Just like so many on the Right, you seem to want to equate this post with some sort of call to infringe upon First Amendment rights. That’s simply not the case. The call is for those of us with a differing opinion to use our First Amendment rights to counteract the (perfectly free) expression of those same rights by the exponentially louder (by virtue of money$) Koch brothers. That, my friend, is Democracy.

So George Soros is a saint, and the Koch boys are sinners? Money is money, and money has a lot of power, but doesn’t displace the truth. The truth is more powerful, and so are the people of our country. Soros or Koch family cannot fool all of the people, all the time to quote Lincoln.
